SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) _ Fortinet Inc. (FTNT) on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $173.5 million.On a per-share basis, the Sunnyvale, California-based company said it had net income of 21 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 24 cents per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 22 cents per share. The network security company posted revenue of $1.03 billion in the period, which met Street forecasts.
